The Motorola Razr is one of a handful of foldable phones you can actually buy along with the Samsung Galaxy Fold, Royole Flexpai and Huawei Mate X. But it’s the first to bridge the void between a modern Android smartphone and the familiar clamshell design of the past. I spent a week with the Motorola Razr. It is the most personal phone I’ve ever used. The Razr survived snow, two airplane trips, half a dozen cab rides, a hotel, various pockets, a backpack and a house with a cat. But as much as I’m enamored with the $1,500 flip phone, I still have anxiety about its durability long-term.
