Here’s what the park will look like!

Super Nintendo World

Over the past year or so, we’ve been seeing small, cheeky glimpses at what Super Nintendo World will have to offer in the form of leaked concept models and long-distance photographs, but this new shot is perhaps the best of the lot.

As you may know, the theme park, situated in Universal Studios Japan, was originally planned to open just in time for this year’s Tokyo Olympics (which has since been pushed back to next year). It’s currently unclear how the coronavirus pandemic may have affected the park’s construction, but it sure seems to be coming along nicely. We can immediately see areas based on both Princess Peach and Bowser’s castles, lots of Warp Pipes and Question Blocks, and plenty more besides.

Back in September, it was revealed that Super Nintendo World will “redefine what a park experience is like” thanks to a special magnetic wristband that visitors can use to keep track of scores and connect to games consoles.

Who fancies a trip to Japan when the world goes back to normal? We sure do.
